About This:
If your pulse is racing, your heart is pounding and your head is banging, congratulations. You've just entered the hard core musical rock world of
Controlled Aggression, a band surely to treat your senses to the purest form of intensity. Comparatively speaking, throw Rage Against the Machine, Helmet, Korn, and early-day Metallica in a room together and let them fight it out.
Guaranteed they'd come out sounding, smelling, and tasting like a hybrid Controlled Aggression. Yeah, it's heavy metal, but not in the typical
sense. There's an edge here not to be reckoned with as well as an incomparable rap/metal crossover sound screaming out. Just slip in the
disc and wait for your head to explode. This is in-your-face, heavy-duty, gut-wrenching, huge-sounding what-was-that kind of stuff. Controlled Aggression consistently packs clubs to the walls with music hungry fans who keep coming
back for more. Their fan base is large, strong, loyal, and needless to say, energetic. The band has played in rooms with crowds from 200 to 2000
in Boston, throughout all of New England, and NewYork. Sharing bills with such bands as Godsmack, Reveille, Sam Black Church, Tree, Grinspoon, Dio, Dokken, L.A. Guns, Stir, Staind, Gangsta Bitch Barbie, Powerman 5000, Kilgore, Hate Machine and many, many more. Controlled Aggression has proudly accepted first place honors in Battle of the Bands contests whereby
noteworthy music industry personnel are judges. Their early 1997 CD Demo entitled, "White Trash Wins the Lottery!" Loaded with nine explosive tunes, had been on the shelves in 11 record store chains accounting for 31 locations and nearly sold out. The new CD Demo entitled "Steep" proves to be huge in a new direction for the band. It receives regular airplay throughout New England, is being embraced by fans, consistently remains in the top five of WAAF's Bay State Rock Program (Sunday nights at 12), and is continually gaining
enthusiastic acceptance and applause from within the industry.
