About This:
The New Media was formed by Reinier Vermeulen (guitar/keys for Elle Bandita, (ex-)Solaire & A Fire From Above) and Jeroen Jaquet (drummer/vocalist for San Andreas and vocalist for Phaedra List) back in 2008. They made music just for the sake of making music. Without anybody looking over their shoulders they were able to really take their time and comfort to the writing process and because of that everything just came naturally. They recorded 5 tracks so far, Reinier playing bass and guitars and Jeroen playing drums, keys and vocals. A video of the song “Legacy” will be released soon. All songs are recorded and mixed by Christiaan Stijnen (he also did both San Andreas albums) and mastered bij Sander van der Heide of Saint Of Sound mastering studios in Soest. They had one guest musician named Marinda, she did vocals on the song “Treasure Chest”. In the mean time they have found a couple of friends willing to accompany them on stage.
