Joe has spent many years dreaming about recording this album. His father, Harley Berg, was a big band leader in the 20's & 30's while his uncle still played his sax well into his '80's. Joe never thought he would get the chance to sing because he kept his focus on his pro-baseball career. After an injury forced his early retirement, he forgot about this dream. Now, decades later, we got together and made his dream come true.
Joe lives in Salado, a little town in Central Texas. He spends each day driving a school bus taking kids back and forth from their homes. When he gets a chance, he plays golf at Mill Creek Golf and Country Cluc. He hasn't played gold much lately because of his intense focus on completing this album. Now that it is out, he plans to give performing a shot. He may never golf again. RpT |
