About This:
What began as post-show party on the beaches of Nantucket 4 years ago has
become a unique new Boston-based band and an inspiring 14-song CD. Welcome to the world of RADIAL BLISS. Sensual, emotional, explosive, and sometimes silly, their debut recording, Stir, will take you on a roller coaster ride of modern rock music. RADIAL BLISS features the provocative vocals of Tim Day, formerly of the band, Signs of Life. Tim's voice cuts through and soars above the thick wall of guitars laid down by guitarist Andrew Schulz, whose rich musical background includes Classical, Progressive Rock, and Blues. He's played with such bands as Anamis, Front Street Blues Band, and Signs of Life. Mark Yurkovic, the infamous leader of Shecky, adds a tasty pop sensibility through co-writing credits and colorful keyboard lines. Bass and drums are beautifully crafted by Boston's premier bad-ass dynamic duo, Jeff St. Pierre and Phil Antoniades. They can be found playing with Jennifer Tefft, Todd Thibaud, Shecky, and Barbara Kessler. If that is not enough, Stir also features guest appearances by Joan Pimentel (Superhoney), Mario Perrett (Love Dogs), Barbara Kessler, Kristina Beachell, and Ian Baker. Mixed and co-produced by Fran Flannery (Creed, Aerosmith, Fuel etc.) at LongView Farm Studios, Stir is one of this year's best rock records and announces RADIAL BLISS as a band to watch for 2002.
