Boozhoo! Hello, and thanks for checkin' us out! Our band name is really just a plural version of our last name, "TallTree." That's how you'll find us at iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody, etc. Our closest friends call us "Trees." And yeah, that's really our name!
When Great-grandma named me (Robert), she called me Con-nos-sem-tig. What it really means is a tree reaching and growing towards the sky, well-rooted in our Mother, the Earth - reaching out in all directions, and providing shelter and nourishment to many.
Great-grandma was our clan matriarch, and she had the honor and responsibility to do the naming ceremonies. Now that responsibility rests upon my mother's shoulders...
We live in the Rocky Mountains...sooooo beautiful!!! Our favorite memory of sharing music (there are so many!) was an incredible night in Morocco with the Amazigh (Berber) people, just singing, dancing and sharing the L O V E !!!!
Music is a universal language, and we have been so blessed to be able to share ours with so many amazing people. |
